Shi Potian Talks about Zisha: Purple Clay Teapot Basic Knowledge

What do you often hear about "Pin Zi"? Is it chemical mud? What is the difference between "purple mud" and all kinds of pure mud? Looking at the names of those mud materials, I became more and more confused, and I dare not buy them. I don't want to buy a pot and always wonder what kind of mud it is made of?
Combining purple is different from sand adjustment. Sand adjustment is to add a certain proportion of natural sand to natural mud powder. In simple terms, Pinzi is a kind of mud mixed with two or more muds (not different purple sand muds) or metal oxides. If it is mixed with raw ore mud, it will not contain chemical raw materials.
The clay after spelling purple has the advantages of stable mud, tight structure, easy control, strong shaping, and easy forming. It is a common clay. Purple spelling is also one of the long-standing and widely spread techniques in the industry.
The purple sand mud that is not blended is called "clear cement", and clear cement is pure purple mud ore, which is a more common mud. The good ones are rare and expensive, and the bad ones are many and cheap. I heard that some artists in Dingshan use newly mined clear cement and purple mud as the bottom tank, so I warn the rookie pot lovers to keep their eyes open.
