壶身扁圆似鼓，上部内收，嵌盖、扁圆钮与短弯流相呼应。提梁顺壶身肩部向上渐开，顶部与壶底匀称辉映，结构严谨。超高的提梁和均扁的壶身完美协调，虚实处理得恰到好处，线面简洁光素，大美无言。
此创作精髓在于高而突出的提梁，动势飞扬，协调呼应。从紫砂壶的工艺角度，提梁越高制作难度越大，需要制壶者对紫砂的泥性有绝高的把握。
底槽清是里面带有浅青绿色鸡眼似斑块的紫泥矿，鸡眼是成对的分布甚密且平均。色呈偏紫泛青，细而纯正。烧成的壶呈现红猪肝色，烧成颜色详细要看矿料的成分构成和烧成温度。
